Creating a botanical tapestry is the perfect way to celebrate the end of a beautiful growing season! Our instructor, Lilah Anderson of Fiddlehead Studio, will take you through the process of creating a woven piece of art using natural elements from the garden such as seeds pods, flowers, grasses, and more. Attendees will receive complimentary coffee and pastries, along with their beautiful tapestry to take home. Tapestries average 12-15″ in height and 24-36″ in width.
Fiddlehead Studio is owned by Lilah Anderson. She is dedicated to offering quality workshops about plants, growing and creating with botanicals.
Lilah has always loved being in the garden and her love of plants has carried her to many things including a degree in biology, working on the horticulture team at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum and most life changing, moving from Rhode Island to Iowa to take a position as Education Coordinator at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. While she has since moved on to a career in her other love of art, plants have remained central to Lilah’s world and she loves to share her passion for the all things botanical with others.
*Ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend at the time of the workshop, you can give your ticket to someone else but there are no refunds or credits.
